If you have trouble sleeping, do not rush to resort to sleeping pills and tranquilizers.
First of all, try to establish the regime of the day, do not allow assault forces and emergency rifles to work, which inevitably leads to overstrain and stress. Try in any weather at least half an hour, walk before bedtime. and if you can’t force yourself, get a dog, then you want to, you don’t want to, but you’ll have to go for a walk. Do not eat at night, ventilate the room where you sleep. Let these recommendations seem trite to you, having gotten a sore point, but do not reject them, as they say, from the threshold. Make up your mind and do them for at least a month. And you, I am sure, will feel relief, become calmer, more balanced. And this, in turn, normalizes sleep.
There is another great remedy. which will help to overcome insomnia without medication, if, of course, it is not caused by any disease. It is about acupressure.
If you get very tired during the day, first try to remove fatigue with acupressure. Perhaps this alone will be enough to get rid of insomnia and have a healthy sleep.
With general fatigue, the points located on the hands are massaged – first on one hand, then on the other.
FIRST POINT – symmetrical (see picture), located to the inside from the corner of the nail bed of the little finger of the brush. Massage by pressing with your thumb or forefinger for 2-3 minutes until a slight soreness appears (1).
SECOND POINT – symmetrical, located outward from the corner of the nail bed of the little finger of the brush. Massage with your thumb or forefinger for 2-3 minutes until a slight soreness appears. It is possible to massage both points at the same time, clasping the little finger with the index and thumb (2).
THIRD POINT – symmetrical, located on the middle finger of the brush 3 millimeters down from the corner of the nail bed on the side of the index finger, massage with your thumb 2-3 minutes until a slight soreness appears (3).
FOURTH POINT – symmetrical, located on the back of the hand, in the skin fold between the thumb and forefinger: if you spread your fingers, then from the skin fold one centimeter to the base of the brush. Massage for 3 minutes with your thumb, applying sensitive pressure (4). It happens, and often, that the pain in the legs, tired for a day, prevents sleep. Do not be too lazy to do acupressure. First, in a sitting position, massage a point on one leg. then to another.
FIRST POINT – symmetrical, located on the plantar surface of the foot. When the toes of the foot are bent, a fossa forms, in the center of which this point is determined. Massage with your index finger for 5 minutes, kneading, until a sensation of warmth appears (5).
SECOND POINT – symmetrical, located 3 millimeters inwards from the inner corner of the nail bed of the big toe. Massage with your thumb for 2-3 minutes, pressing until a slight soreness appears (6).
THIRD POINT – symmetrical, located between the Achilles tendon and the outer ankle, at the level of its center. Massage for 3 minutes with a light pressure of the thumb (7).
FOURTH POINT – symmetrical. located on the foot under the inner ankle. on the border of the back and plantar surfaces. Massage for 3 minutes with light rotational movements (8).
FIFTH POINT – symmetrical, located in the center of the sole between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones. Massage for 3 minutes with the index finger, greatly flexing the area of the point (9).

SEVENT POINT – symmetrical. located between the 1st metatarsal bone and the main phalanx of the thumb, on the border of the back and plantar surfaces, Massage for 5 minutes by lightly pressing the index finger (11).
EIGHT POINT – symmetrical. Its location can be determined as follows: put the palm of the right hand on the knee of the bent right leg, placing the middle finger on the protruding crest of the tibia. The cushion of the ring finger pressed to the middle will point to the desired point. Massage with your index finger for 5 minutes by turning clockwise (12). After acupressure, perform a general light foot massage until a sensation of warmth appears.
If this complex of acupressure does not help normalize sleep, try a massage designed specifically to combat insomnia. This is again about sleep disturbance. caused by functional disorders, but not by any disease!
The effect is higher if a massage is given to you by one of the family members, but self-massage is quite effective.
